Take control of your content quality with Nota's customizable PROOF settings! Easily tailor readability analysis, validation rules, and content parameters across WordPress, Blox, and Arc integrations to perfectly match your publishing standards.
Nota Dashboard - Customizing PROOF settings
Many of you have requested the ability to update/adjust the parameters for PROOF outputs within our pre-publish environments (CMS integrations with WordPress, Blox, Arc, etc.). We now provide you with full control over what elements of PROOF are scored, and you can customize the parameters of how scoring is done.
- Step 1: Log into the Nota dashboard at https://tools.heynota.com/.
- Step 2: Select the appropriate Workspace in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
- Step 3: Navigate to Settings > Workspace > Settings
- Step 4: Decide if you are going to set your PROOF settings at the organization level or the team level
- If at the organization level, simply click the Tools tab on the Organization Settings level

- If at the team level, click the Teams tab, then click the Team name, then navigate to the Tools tab
- Step 5: Once on the Tools tab, you will see that you have the ability to customize all of the PROOF settings.
- Content Settings
- Enable/disable Content Readability Analysis
- Enable/disable Spellcheck
- Set Content Min/Max Lengths
- Content Settings

- Enable Headline Validation
- Enable Meta Description Validation
- Enable Meta Title Validation
- Enable Slug Validation

- Step 6: Once you’ve updated all of the PROOF settings to your liking, click the Save button in the top right corner.
- Step 7: Navigate to the WordPress plug-in or your CMS (Blox - Classic/ArcXP) to analyze your content to see the new PROOF settings flow through to the outputs you review.
