Nota now works with publishers on the Blox (Classic) and ArcXP CMSs via our browser extension! Additionally, users now have targeted API key creation, PROOF setting customization, larger file analysis, and template sharing for VID Pro.

Nota Browser Extension: Blox (Classic) + ArcXP Integration
We’ve seen the benefit our WordPress customers have seen from having our tools directly integrated within their workflow inside the CMS, which is why we made our browser extension compatible with Blox (Classic) and ArcXP. You will now have the ability to do all of your pre-publish optimization with our SUM/SEO/SOCIAL/PROOF tools alongside your CMS window with our browser extension.
Nota Dashboard - Generating unique API keys for Teams within the organization
If you have a use case for tying an API integration or WordPress integration directly to a Team within Nota, you may now do so by generating an API key directly for your Team(s).
- Step 1: Log into the Nota dashboard at https://tools.heynota.com/.
- Step 2: Select the appropriate Workspace in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
- Step 3: Navigate to Settings > Workspace > Settings
- Step 4: Click on Teams tab within this view
- Step 5: Click the name of the Team in the list of teams for the organization’s workspace
- Step 6: Once inside the Team’s settings, you can navigate to the API Integration tab
- Step 7: To create a unique API key for this team to use in activating the WordPress plug-in or direct API integration, simply click the Enable Integration button
- Step 8: From here you can copy the Primary Key and paste it into the Nota tools settings within the WordPress environment

- Step 9: If you ever need to disable this API key, navigate to the API integration tab within the respective Team and click the Disable Integration button
Nota Dashboard - Customizing PROOF settings
Many of you have requested the ability to update/adjust the parameters for PROOF outputs within our pre-publish environments (CMS integrations with WordPress, Blox, Arc, etc.). We now provide you with full control over what elements of PROOF are scored, and you can customize the parameters of how scoring is done.
- Step 1: Log into the Nota dashboard at https://tools.heynota.com/.
- Step 2: Select the appropriate Workspace in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
- Step 3: Navigate to Settings > Workspace > Settings
- Step 4: Decide if you are going to set your PROOF settings at the organization level or the team level
- If at the organization level, simply click the Tools tab on the Organization Settings level

- If at the team level, click the Teams tab, then click the Team name, then navigate to the Tools tab
- Step 5: Once on the Tools tab, you will see that you have the ability to customize all of the PROOF settings.

- Step 6: Once you’ve updated all of the PROOF settings to your liking, click the Save button in the top right corner.
- Step 7: Navigate to the WordPress plug-in or your CMS (Blox - Classic/ArcXP) to analyze your content to see the new PROOF settings flow through to the outputs you review.
Nota Dashboard: Increased Context Window
We recognize how important it is to be able to leverage the Nota tool suite for longer form content, that’s why we’ve more than tripled the amount of content you can load into our tools from 18,000 characters to 60,0000 characters. Feel free to drop longer articles or files into our tools for optimization.
Nota Dashboard: VID Pro Template Sharing
Nota now allows users to share VID Pro templates with members of their team or organization.
- Step 1. Log into the Nota dashboard at https://tools.heynota.com/.
- Step 2. Navigate to the VID Pro tool via the tool tile on the home screen or via the tool name on the left navigation bar.
- Step 3 .Click the Manage Templates link in the upper right corner of the screen next to the Generate button.
Note: Templates viewable in the Manage Templates section of the tool are only visible to you. Information on how to view templates that have been shared across the organization are outlined in Step 7.
- Step 4. Click the NEW TEMPLATE button in the top right corner or select a template you’ve already created.
- Step 5a: If you’d like to make an existing template you’ve already created Shared, simply click the Template in your list of templates, and then when you are in the editing screen, move the toggle for Shared to the on position in the upper right corner of the editing environment.
Note: You will notice once you make a template shared, it will have a purple icon next to it indicating that it’s a shared template.
- Step 5b: If you are creating a new template, populate the below screen with the relevant information for the Name of your template, Duration, and Formats. Make sure to toggle the Shared option on if you wish to share this across your team/org.
Note: the template will be shared with the individuals who have access to the team/organization you are creating the template within.
- Step 6: Create your desired template within the editing environment and click the SAVE button in the upper right hand corner. This template will now be available for other members in the selected workspace for use.
- Step 7: In order to access any shared templates saved within your workspace, navigate to the VID Pro input screen, on the right hand rail click the Template text box and the Choose template screen will appear. Under the Category section, select your workspace name, and then select the desired shared template for your project.
