Quasar Product Release Notes - 6.17.24

Our Quasar release has features we know you’ll love. We’ve increased our context length for the number of characters our tool can process, enable you with the ability to leverage files as inputs, and you can now save SUM, SOCIAL, and BRIEF projects

Quasar Release BRIEF:

  • Context limit increase - the input length for text into Nota has increased from 12,000 characters to 18,000 characters
  • Tool Input updates
    • You now have the ability to upload .txt, .pdf, and .doc files up to 5MB for inputs to Nota tools
    • We’ve added a Recent Articles selection option to your tool inputs
  • Save your projects! Similar to LETTER, you can now save your SUM, SOCIAL, and BRIEF projects for future reference.
  • SOCIAL is now exclusively available via the left rail, and has been removed from the SUM outputs

Context Limit Increase

Prior to this release, Nota tools had a context limit of 12,000 characters for inputs you could analyze within the Nota toolset. We’ve increased that to 18,000 characters, giving you a 50% increase in the amount of content you can analyze and optimize through the Nota tool set.

Tool Input Updates

Uploading a file

We’ve added the ability for you to upload a .txt, .pdf, and .doc file up to 5MB in length for use across all of our tools. For the time being, we will only be pulling in text from the file you upload, so for VID and IMAGE, no images will load from files.

From the tool input screen, just click the “⌄” symbol next to the Populate Using A URL button, and select Upload File (see below).

The below pop up will appear which will allow you to select a file from your computer.

After uploading your file, the Nota tool will retrieve all of the text from your file to use within the tool you are leveraging for outputs.

Recent Articles

We wanted to make it easier for you to access an article that you previously used for an output to be readily across all of our toolset, so we added the Recent articles option as an input. Nota will now store the last 5 articles you used within our toolset for selection within the tool input screen.

Simply click the recent article and all of the relevant text/images will be pulled in based on the tool you are working in.

Save your SUM, BRIEF, and SOCIAL Projects

We’ve now extended your ability to save projects for more than just our LETTER tool. You can now save a SUM, BRIEF, and SOCIAL project for future use. You will notice that for each of these tools, you will see the ability to name your project in the right hand rail under Output Settings. This field is completely optional, and you will have the chance to name your project after clicking the Generate button as well.

The name of your project will appear at the top of the screen. You will also now see a green SAVE button for your project with the respective Nota tool.

Note: Just because you name your project does not mean it will automatically save. Please remember to click the Save button for any tool outputs you wish to access at a later date/time.

You can now navigate to the Projects folder on the left rail to see all of your projects across each of the tools you saved outputs for.

You will notice that each project has a unique icon to distinguish which tool was used. Additionally, the Tool column will allow you to identify which tool was used to create the project listed.

SOCIAL is now exclusively available via the left navigation bar

Prior to this release, you could access our SOCIAL tool through a SUM tab as well as via the left rail. We thought we’d simplify things, so SOCIAL is now exclusively available via the left navigation bar. The Output Settings look slightly different but everything you’ve come to expect from our SOCIAL tool is now in one place.

Coming Soon…Tone Builder + VID PRO

We have been testing both tools vigorously over the last few weeks both internally and with a small set of publications excited to test out these tools. We are tweaking both tools to address bugs, make enhancements, and document best practices/user guides to ensure a smooth launch. We can’t wait to get both in your hands!

That’s all for this release. Stay tuned for future updates!
