Analyze posts and listings with Nota AI-driven insights, drawing on best practices to elevate your content across platforms.
Begin a post or listing as you always have within WordPress/Newspack. As you complete your draft of your post/listing you will see the Nota Tools at the bottom of the page directly under your content. See below:
Simply click the Analyze page button to generate suggestions based on your content for the following elements across 3 tabs. See below:
- Content tab: Headlines, an excerpt, article summary, tags, and pull quotes
- SEO tab: Page Titles, Slugs, Meta Description, and Keywords
- Social tab: Copy recommendations for Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, SMS and Hashtags
It's important to note that every output Nota generates is editable. Our tools are meant to be assistive and are recommendations based on research, industry best practices, proprietary data, and our own large language model (LLM) POLARIS.
Content Tab
- Headlines - Nota will provide you with 3 headline suggestions after you analyze your content. You can copy-edit, select, or regenerate more headlines if you want to see additional options
- To edit the headline recommendation to your liking, simply click into the textbox and change the copy
- To select the headline you want to use, simply click the Select button on the right side of the textbox. See below:
- When you click the Select button, the headline at the top of your post/listing will automatically update to your selection
- If you'd like to revert to your original headline copy, simply click the Revert button. See below:
- You will also notice that headline length (character count) is listed under each headline output. To learn how to set your headline and casing styles, check out these Knowledge Base articles:
- If you'd like to Regenerate additional headline suggestions, you will need to hover your mouse parallel to the Headlines header on the right side of the screen, and you will see the below icon. Simply click that icon to get 3 more headline suggestions you can toggle through. You can click the < and > arrows to toggle through your recommended headlines.
- Excerpt - Nota will provide you with an excerpt to use on the page. You can edit, select, regenerate, and revert this output as well. If you select the excerpt, it will automatically append to the page's content. See below:

- Summary - Nota will provide you with a one-paragraph summary for your post/listing. You can edit, copy, and regenerate this output. To copy this output for use outside of WordPress, simply click the copy button on the right side of the Summary textbox. See below:
- Tags - Nota will produce recommended tags based on your article content for discovery within your CMS. You can select and regenerate this output. Simply click the tags you want to apply to this post/listing, and they will automatically be added to your published content. See below:
- Quotes - Nota will provide you 3 quotes from your article content. These can either be direct quotes from sources (which we will cite if they are), or they will be text pulled directly from your page/listing that we believe are the most important pieces of content to elevate as a pull quote. You can edit, copy or regenerate quotes.
SEO Tab
- Page Title - Nota will provide you with 3 Page Title suggestions after you analyze your content. These have been optimized based on industry best practices to maximize your organic search traffic. You can copy-edit, select, or regenerate more page titles if you want to see additional options.
- The same functionality that exists for Headlines on the Content tab applies to Page Titles (Selecting and Reverting selections)
- When you select a Page Title it will automatically be applied to the SEO elements of your post/listing and will also show up in the Preview section at the bottom of the page
- Slugs - Nota will provide you with 3 slug suggestions after you analyze your content. These have been optimized based on industry best practices to include relevant keywords to maximize your organic search traffic. You can copy-edit, select, or regenerate more slugs if you want to see additional options.
- The same functionality that exists for Headlines on the Content tab applies to Slugs (Selecting and Reverting selections)
- When you select a Slug it will automatically be applied to the SEO elements of your post/listing and will also show up in the Preview section at the bottom of the page
- Meta Description - Nota will provide you with a Meta Description after you analyze your content. This has been optimized based on industry best practices to maximize your organic search traffic. You can copy-edit, select, or regenerate additional options for a meta description if you want to see additional options.
- The same functionality that exists for Headlines on the Content tab applies to Meta Description (Selecting and Reverting selections)
- When you select the Meta Description it will automatically be applied to the SEO elements of your post/listing and will also show up in the Preview section at the bottom of the page
- Keywords - Nota will generate a list of relevant keywords based on your page/listing that are optimized based on industry best practices to maximize your organic search traffic. These can not be edited, but they can be regenerated. Your Keywords are what unlock your ability to utilize the Nota PROOF tool with the WordPress/Newspack plug-in. Preview - After you've made your edits/selections on the Content and SEO tabs within the Nota Tools, you will see a preview of how those elements you've selected will appear within Google. See below:
Social Tab
Nota will generate copy suggestions for all of the major social media networks (Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Thread, LinkedIn, TikTok, and SMS. Additionally, Nota will also provide you with recommended Hashtags based on your page/listing content.

For each of the platforms we generate content for, we consistently update our prompts to ensure they are aligned with the most current best practices for tone, length, use of emojis, hashtags, etc.
You can edit, copy, or regenerate social outputs if you want to see additional options for each of the respective platforms. See below:
- Hashtags - If you'd like to add any hashtags to your social outputs, simply click the desired hashtag and it will automatically append to the end of each of your social outputs. See below:
