VID Pro: Media Element Settings

Media Element Settings allow users to customize the dimensions, positioning, and style of an image box, as well as set the start time, duration, and animation for the media element. Users can also choose a motion effect to apply to the media element.

Highlighted Actions:

  • Modify the size and placement of the media element box by adjusting the width, height, and anchor point.
  • Customize the padding, corner roundness, opacity, and rotation of the media element within its container.
  • Choose the stroke style, color, and thickness for the media element box, and select entrance and exit animations.

Box Style

Customize the dimensions and positioning of the image box. Adjust the width and height percentages using the input fields or sliders.


Width

Adjust the percentage width of the media element box. Enter a value or use the slider to set the width percentage.


Height

Adjust the percentage height of the media element box. Enter a value or use the slider to set the height percentage.


Anchor Point

Select the anchor point for positioning the media element. Click on one of the nine squares to set the anchor point.


Horizontal Offset

Set the percentage offset from the left anchor point. Enter a value in the input field to adjust the horizontal offset.


Vertical Offset

Set the percentage offset from the top anchor point. Enter a value in the input field to adjust the vertical offset.


Padding: Adjust the padding within the container. Use the slider to increase or decrease the padding.


Corner Radius

Adjust the corner radius to round the corners of the media element. You can round all four corners or adjust each corner individually. Use the input fields or sliders to set the corner radius for each corner.


Opacity

Set the opacity level of the media element. Use the slider to adjust the opacity percentage.


Rotation

Adjust the rotation angle of the media element within the container. Enter a value in the input field or use the slider to set the rotation angle.



Box Stroke

Choose the stroke style for the media element box, including color and thickness.

Style
Select the stroke style, either solid or none.

Thickness
You can set the thickness for all sides or adjust each side individually. 

Color
Select a color from the color picker.


Timing


Start Time

Set the start time for the media element to appear in the video. Adjust the media element on the track or enter the start time in the input field.


Duration

Set the duration for the media element to disappear in the video. Adjust the media element on the track or enter the end time in the input field.



Animations

Entrance Animation

Select an entrance animation for the media element. Choose an animation from the dropdown menu.

  1. None: No animation.
  2. Fade: Media element fades in.
  3. Slide Right: Media element slides in from the right.
  4. Slide Left: Media element slides in from the left.
  5. Slide Top: Media element slides in from the top.
  6. Slide Bottom: Media element slides in from the bottom.
  7. Slide Right and Fade: Media element slides in from the right and fades in.
  8. Slide Left and Fade: TeMedia element slides in from the left and fades in.
  9. Slide Top and Fade: Media element slides in from the top and fades in.
  10. Slide Bottom and Fade: Media element slides in from the bottom and fades in.
  11. Color Wipe: Media element appears with a color wipe effect.
  12. Circular Reveal: Media element reveals in a circular motion.

Exit Animation

Select an exit animation for the media element. Choose an animation from the dropdown menu.

  1. None: No animation.
  2. Fade: Media element fades out.
  3. Slide Right: Media element slides out to the right.
  4. Slide Left: Media element slides out to the left.
  5. Slide Top: Media element slides out to the top.
  6. Slide Bottom: Media element slides out to the bottom.
  7. Slide Right and Fade: Media element slides out to the right and fades out.
  8. Slide Left and Fade: Media element slides out to the left and fades out.
  9. Slide Top and Fade: Media element slides out to the top and fades out.
  10. Slide Bottom and Fade: Media element slides out to the bottom and fades out.
  11. Color Wipe: Media element disappears with a color wipe effect.
  12. Circular Reveal: Media element disappears in a circular motion.

Motion Effect

Choose a motion effect to apply to the media element. Select a motion effect from the dropdown menu.

  1. None: No motion effect.
  2. Zoom In: Media element zooms in.
  3. Zoom Out: Media element zooms out.
  4. Slide Left: Media element slides to the left.
  5. Slide Right: Media element slides to the right.
  6. Slide Down: Media element slides down.
  7. Slide Up: Media element slides up.
