Nota VID Pro allows easy template sharing within teams, enabling users to create, save, and access shared templates across their organization.
Collaboration just got easier with Nota's VID Pro template sharing feature. This user guide walks you through the simple process of creating, sharing, and accessing templates across your team or organization, streamlining your workflow and ensuring consistent content creation.
Navigating to Shared Templates
- Log into the Nota dashboard at https://tools.heynota.com/.
- Navigate to the VID Pro tool via the tool tile on the home screen or via the tool name on the left navigation bar.
- Click the Manage Templates link in the upper right corner of the screen next to the Generate button.
Note: Templates viewable in the Manage Templates section of the tool are only visible to you. Information on how to view templates that have been shared across the organization are outlined in the steps below.
Sharing Your Template
- Click the NEW TEMPLATE button in the top right corner or select a template you’ve already created.
- If you’d like to make an existing template you’ve created Shared, simply click, the Template in your list of templates, and then when you are in the editing screen, move the toggle for Shared to the on position in the upper right corner of the editing environment.
Note: You will notice once you make a template shared, it will have a purple icon next to it indicating that it’s a shared template.
Click the SAVE button to ensure this template is now Shared.
If you are creating a new template, populate the below screen with the relevant information for the Name of your template, Duration, and Formats. Make sure to toggle the Shared option on if you wish to share this across your team/org.
Note: the template will be shared with the individuals who have access to the team/organization you are creating the template within.
Accessing Shared Templates
- Create your desired template within the editing environment and click the SAVE button in the upper right hand corner. This template will now be available for other members in the selected workspace for use.
- In order to access any shared templates saved within your workspace, navigate to the VID Pro input screen, on the right hand rail click the Template text box and the Choose template screen will appear. Under the Category section, select your workspace name, and then select the desired shared template for your project.
