The timeline in the video editor allows for precise editing of media elements, with options to move, resize, and delete elements. The player and scrubber can be used to make fine tuning adjustments.
Highlighted Actions:
- To add media elements, simply click on the circular + button located on the track where you want to place them.
- You can move media elements by clicking and dragging them to a new position on the timeline, and resize them by clicking and dragging the handles at the edges.
Add Media Elements
Click the circular + button to add a media element to the desired track.
Move Media Elements
Click and drag a media element to a new position on the timeline.
Resize Media Elements
Click and drag the resize handles on the edges of a media element to adjust its duration.
Delete Media Elements
Click on the three dots on a media element and select Delete to remove it from the timeline.
Tips for Using the Player and Scrubber
Precise Editing
Use the scrubber handle and time markers to make precise adjustments to the timing of your media elements. For fine tuning use the settings.
Preview Changes
Regularly play back your video to preview changes and ensure that media elements are aligned correctly.
Organize Tracks in Groups
Use groups to organize different tracks and types of media (text, images, videos) and make it easier to manage your project.
Formats
Choose the format/aspect ratio for your video. Default is 1920x1080 (16:9). Use the dropdown menu to select the desired format/aspect ratio.
Add Format
Click to add platforms to your project. Click the Add Format button and select the desired platform or aspect ratio you want to add to the project.
Duration
Set the duration of your video. Enter the time in minutes and seconds (00:15). Enter the duration in the input field or use the time picker to set the desired duration for your video.
Background Color
Choose the background color for your video. Default is black (#000000). Use the color picker to select the background color, or enter the hex code for the desired color.
Intro
Select if you want an intro for your video. Use the toggle to enable or disable the intro for your video.
Intro Transition
Choose the transition effect for your video intro. This is optional. Select a transition effect from the dropdown menu to apply to the intro.
Intro Speed
Select the speed for your video intro. This is optional. Choose the speed of the intro transition from the dropdown menu.
Outro
Select if you want an outro for your video. This is optional. Use the toggle to enable or disable the outro for your video.
Outro Transition
Choose the transition effect for your video outro. This is optional. Select a transition effect from the dropdown menu to apply to the outro.
Outro Speed
Select the speed for your video outro. This is optional. Choose the speed of the outro transition from the dropdown menu.
