Nota now allows organizations to generate dedicated API keys for Teams by navigating to a specific Team's settings and enabling integration through the API Integration tab.
Nota Dashboard - Generating unique API keys for Teams within the organization
If you have a use case for tying an API integration or WordPress integration directly to a Team within Nota, you may now do so by generating an API key directly for your Team(s).
- Step 1: Log into the Nota dashboard at https://tools.heynota.com/.
- Step 2: Select the appropriate Workspace in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
- Step 3: Navigate to Settings > Workspace > Settings
- Step 4: Click on Teams tab within this view
- Step 5: Click the name of the Team in the list of teams for the organization’s workspace
- Step 6: Once inside the Team’s settings, you can navigate to the API Integration tab
- Step 7: To create a unique API key for this team to use in activating the WordPress plug-in or direct API integration, simply click the Enable Integration button
- Step 8: From here you can copy the Primary Key and paste it into the Nota tools settings within the WordPress environment

- Step 9: If you ever need to disable this API key, navigate to the API integration tab within the respective Team and click the Disable Integration button
